As a React Engineer with OurFamilyWizard, you will directly contribute to features that make everyday life a little bit easier for families on their co-parenting journey. You will be part of a product team, and operate alongside a collaborative group of product managers, designers, QA analysts, automation engineers, and other web and mobile engineers working together to solve meaningful problems for parents, children, and practitioners. We are looking for an individual who has some experience creating high quality software with React, is excited to partner with Senior teammates to solve complex problems and grow and is passionate about delivering clean code that has an impact on families.
What you will accomplish:
- Support our families through complex challenges: primarily in our Calendar area that helps separated families keep track of who needs to be where and when
- Develop your technical skills in React and front-end technologies through product challenges, platform improvements, active mentorship from senior teammates, and the ever-changing nature of the day-to-day at a growing company
- Expand your product and systems thinking with exposure and input into all facets of the product development process while operating with a cross-functional team
- Be acknowledged, respected, and grow as an individual, and harmonize and thrive within a larger team

What you bring:
- 3+ years of web development experience
- CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience in React
- Experience interacting with Web APIs
- Strong analytic experience and a bias for data-driven decision making
- Proven experience delivering software applications/features from inception to shipping within a cross-functional team environment
Great to haves:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with utilizing Context or Redux for state management
- Experience with Material UI or other component libraries
- Experience with React Hooks
- Familiarity with atomic design principles and design systems
- Familiarity with design and development collaboration tools (Figma, inVision, etc.)
- Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, etc.)
- Experience with iterative, agile based software delivery processes
- Experience in legal technology or legal profession in some way
